The tennis player René Lacoste was knick-named ‘the crocodile’. He chose the icon of a little crocodile as the badge when he launched his eponymous clothing line in 1929. Since then the Lacoste range has grown to include many beautifully designed items, like leather goods and watches. Lacoste men and women watches are streamlined and elegant. The little crocodile is always there, in various sizes, to remind everyone that this is the trademark of a champion.
Silicone Strap
Silicone straps attract dirt because of the way they rub on your skin. Silicone is not sensitive to water and soap or hard cleaning gestures. If you you’re wearing your watch while swimming or doing watersports, always rinse it with clean fresh water afterwards. Silicone straps usually need to be replaced every 18 months to two years.
To clean your silicone strap
Always consult with your watch manual before cleaning. Remove the strap from your watch carefully. Wash the strap in mild soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Use a cloth to wipe it dry or let it air dry completely. Place the strap back on your watch. If you do not feel sure that you can perform the band removal and cleaning, consult with a professional.
